Privacy Policy

TL;DR: The site uses a couple of third-party services to make it work and to track how popular it is. The site's author doesn't have access to the text of your stories, but the LLM provider may.

This site stores information (e.g., your current story and any custom API credentials—your endpoint and API key) in your browser's localStorage. This isn't shared with the site's author. However, if someone has access to your browser, they could see this data. To remove this, click remove my saved data.

If you haven't entered an endpoint and API key, the text of your stories is being passed to OpenAI over the site author's business account. At the time of this writing, OpenAI does not make this text available to the site author, and he does not have the ability to save or store this information as your browser communicates directly with the LLM provider. If you have provided your own endpoint and API key, this text is being passed to the LLM provider who maintains that endpoint. To provide your own endpoint and API key, visit the Library Card page.

This site makes use of Google Analytics to track visitor statistics. This may include the use of cookies. See How Google uses data when you use our partner's sites or apps (e.g., this site). Additionally, this site is hosted as a GitHub Page and presumably GitHub maintains associated server logs.
